Key Duties & Responsibilities

​

  • Edit enticing, original and high-quality video content across multiple platforms. Creating compelling stories.

  • Responsible for the complete workflow, including organisation, ingest, transcoding, backup, archival, QC and documentation of all footage across a busy post-production team.

  • Highly organised with experience of producing call sheets, budgets, shoot planning, crewing, and filming equipment organisation

  • Provide sound design and sound mixing capabilities for all video output

  • Share knowledge on sound design and sound mixing techniques with members of team to ensure industry quality productions

  • Create bespoke assets that show knowledge of and consideration for social media audiences - including, but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

  • Ability to quickly learn customer brand guidelines and work creatively within those parameters

  • Manage multiple edits and projects at the same time.

  • Contribute innovative creative concepts across a broad range of video content.

  • Help to develop and ensure the style, tone and quality of digiio’s video content.

  • Research, archive and present imagery, music and video content as support material to projects.

  • Work with current editing and producing team in a flexible and agile way and be able to react quickly to a high volume of video workflow when required.

  • Help to create, update and develop all graphic assets for video content.

  • Ensure all deadlines are met throughout the post-production process and deliver final assets on time.

  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in video across platforms and devices - with a passion for visual storytelling and current trends in video and short form branded tech content.

  • Keep abreast of editing software and hardware developments, and ensure the department is up to date.

  • Share knowledge and be a champion for innovative video within a business working with multiple different mediums.

  • Working with an ambitious and dynamic team with opportunities for continuous personal development and managing / mentoring others.

  • Responsible for succession planning and skills for all editors at digiio so that we continuously develop new capabilities for our creative output

Essential Skills & Requirements

​

  • 3+ years proven experience creating narrative video content for corporate clients.

  • Ability to work comfortably in After Effects for 2D vector animation and motion tracking.

  • Ability to design and mix sound to broadcast quality standards High-level knowledge of creative video editing.

  • High-level of sound

  • High-level experience in data wrangling, ingest settings, transcoding, video codecs and formats.

  • High-level experience in 2D animation.

  • Knowledge of video archival through media asset management systems.

  • Upkeeping and organising a central edit server.

  • High-level of experience in colour correction and creative colour grading.

  • High-level of experience in motion graphics creation.

Required Software Knowledge

​

  • Adobe Creative Suite - with particular high-level knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Pro Tools, Audition, Photoshop and Media Encoder
