Introduction
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter and well-organised researcher to join a fast-growing creative agency in a qualitative researcher role.
You will have two to three years of demonstrable qualitative research experience, preferably in a market, policy, academic and/or industry capacity.
​
Responsibilities
Assist with analysis of market and policy trends relevant to the technology ecosystem and major UK market players, their customers, and their challenges.
Assist with collection, synthesis, and communication of research and insights in a concise and impactful manner for a C-suite executive audience.
Draft and write reports in various formats (case studies, briefs, and presentations), adhering to the appropriate analytical and writing style guidelines.
Identify and collect research data to generate qualitative and quantitative insights, diligently applying specified tools and research methodologies.
Own and take initiative for designated research tasks and contribute to internal refinement of research methods and data collection processes.
Contribute to the creation of new business solutions and commercial leads.

Candidate Profile

Experience
​
Two to three years of demonstrable qualitative research experience in a relevant position (essential).
Knowledge of tech themes and policy areas such as cloud and AI, data analytics, cybersecurity and digitalisation in a UK context (desirable).
Education:
BA (2.1 or above, essential) and MA (2.1 or above, desired) in fields such as sociology, political science, international relations, technology, and/or sustainability.

Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, time management, and multitasking skills.
Experienced with mixed-methods research – confident working with numbers and identifying numeric patterns and data trends, and passionate about building a narrative and telling a compelling story
